I’ve Been Keeping a Secret

Have you ever felt like God was asking you to do something, but you never told anyone? I have been in this place and the reason I kept it quiet was because of fear. I was afraid that if I said it out loud that I was going to have to do it! If I told others what I felt like God was leading me to do, I would actually have to follow through and be obedient to it. And the reason I didn’t want to do that was, again, because of fear. I was afraid that I was unqualified to accomplish what it was that God was asking me to do.

So, I’ve been keeping a secret. This secret is what I feel like God asked me to do and I have only shared it with a few people because of fear that it might not work or I might not have the skills needed to make it happen. However, over the past several months, I have seen what God will do when you say “yes” to Him. I have seen how He fills in the gaps of our own weaknesses by bringing others and their gifts along beside me. I have seen how He provides the encouragement at just the right moment to remind me to stay the course. He reminds me daily that this idea is all about Him because so much of it is out of the realm of the things I can do comfortably.

I’m excited to share with you the idea that God has given me and invite you to be a part of a special ministry to reach women with the Gospel. I want to introduce you to Gather Box!

Gather Box is a fun way to equip you to host ladies in your home for dinner and a Bible centered conversation. The boxes are sent to you and guide you along as you prepare to do ministry from your home.
